As the nights get cooler, the sound of music slowly starts to fade as the Fonthill Bandshell nears the end of the season.

With just three shows left, committee members are thrilled on how the concert series has gone thus far.

“We are truly humbled every year by the great responses we get from the bandshell patrons, in their words and applause, but also in their generous donations, which help keep the concert series going year after year," committee member Carolyn Mullin said.

Near perfect weather every Thursday has seen thousands of music fans draw into Peace Park enjoying a variety of performances. From the talented Michael Kaeshammer, to the Summerfest launch starring Night Fever, each show has brought a different energy with the same results – happy patrons.

"Thursday nights in Pelham in the summer are the best nights to see our sense of community on display, and the Fonthill Bandshell is a big part of that.”

The committee will waste very little time after the final performance on Sept. 4 as the group constantly works on creating something for the future. With such large crowds this season, the Fonthill Bandshell will have no problem creating buzz for the 2015 concert series, expected to be bigger and better.
