Congratulations to David Baker of Fonthill, winner of $116,753.80 from the January 28, 2015 LOTTO 6/49 draw.
“I’m closer to believing it now,” said David while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to claim his winnings.
“I was joking with the retailer as he checked my tickets,” said David, a regular LOTTO 6/49 player for 30 years. “I asked him to change the tune on the machine and have it make the winner sound and then, as my ticket went through, it did!”
“I started shaking when I saw the amount. The retailer was shocked and happy for me,” said the winner.
David plans to take a trip to visit friends in the United States and save most of his winnings.
