Wet snow makes for slow-go in Pelham

At least 6 inches of wet, heavy snow has brought Pelham if not to a halt, at least to a crawl.

Multiple resident reports to the Voice complain of streets yet to be plowed, despite the snow starting late last night.  Shortly after the Voice contacted Mayor Augustyn and CAO Darren Ottaway for comment, which has not yet been received, the Town issued a news release headlined, “WINTER OPERATIONS IN FULL EFFECT.”

Schools remain open, as do municipal buildings and Pelham Library.  The snow is forecast to taper off this afternoon, with double-digits temperatures and sun coming on Saturday.
