On Sunday April 7, 2024, at approximately 10:06 p.m., uniform officers attended the area of Derby Rad and Conway Place, in the Town of Fort Erie, regarding a motorcycle driving dangerously.
At approximately 10:21 p.m., an officer with the Niagara Regional Police Service observed a male operating a motorcycle that matched the description in the area of Ridgeway Road and Roxborough Road. The motorcycle was travelling at a high rate of speed and performed “wheelies”. The driver then drove up and down Roxborough Avenue accelerating past police in attempts to bait police into a pursuit.
Police did not initiate a pursuit out of concern for the safety of the public.
The motorcycle is described as:
- Red and white sport bike
Description of the driver:
White male, thin build, dark helmet with a face shield, dark jacket/sweater with white writing on the back and right shoulder & arm.
Officers are seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect for the offence of:
- Dangerous Drive
Anyone who may have been in the area or may have video/dash cam footage is asked to contact police if they have any information at 905-688-4111, option 3, ext. 1009558.
